Event Market in traditional finance is a marketplace where participants trade futures contracts based on the outcomes of specific events. Contracts have a fixed set, typically binary outcomes, meaning participants bet on a “yes” or “no” result. The contracts expire once the event concludes, with payouts based on the actual outcome.

DBOE Event Market initially started with the ETH Price Prediction and Sport Prediction (experimental), offering participants a unique opportunity to test their analytical skills.

Experience the thrill of predicting market movements during our dynamic short-term timeframe. Test your skills across three distinct prediction states:

State 0: Price of ETH declines under 0.1%
State 1: Price of ETH ranges bound (-0.1%,0.1%)
State 2: Price of ETH grows above +0.1%
All wages will be pooled together, creating a competitive arena where participants stake their predictions. The winning team, determined by accurate predictions, will take home the total pool after commision for the operator, and losing teams will forfeit their entire bet.

Note: Currently the event is available on the Polygon chain. Please make sure to prepare the MATIC (Polygon chain) to bet the amount you want and pay for gas fee.

🎰 How can I place my bet?

Connect Your Wallet to DBOE: Ensure your wallet is connected to DBOE with at least the amount of MATIC (Polygon chain) to bet and pay for gas fees.
Select the Live Session and observe price movement trends.
Choose Your Prediction: Select State 0, State 1, or State 2 based on your analysis and enter the amount you want to bet, then click “Submit”.
Check Your Ticket in ‘History’: After placing your bet, check your ticket in the ‘History’ section on the screen.
Wait for Session End to Claim Rewards: Hold on until the session concludes. If your prediction is correct, claim your share of the prize pool!

🔔 Important Note: Please note that you NEED TO claim your winnings within 24 hours after the session ended; otherwise, your tickets will no longer be displayed on the site for you to claim.

5% of the total pool will be commision for DBOE as the fee to claim your winnings.
